We are a facility that houses...

  • Meeting rooms for community organizations and group discussions
  • A multi purpose library with computers, audio/visual stations, information pamphlets, magazines and books.  The library is a multi-faceted reference center for our community
  • A lobby lounge area for people to get general information and also spend some time around new and familiar faces
  • Performance space with a stage, audio/visual equipment and seating for 75-100
  • A full kitchen


Taking up residence in the old Vital VOICE building, the LGBT Center of St. Louis now resides at 4337 Manchester Ave.  Centrally located in the Grove neighborhood, the new location opened to the public on July 17th, 2011.  Conveniently located across from Family Care Health Center, the LGBT Center of St. Louis aims to provide to and/or refer our community members to a variety of services.  

DIRECTIONS

From Hwy 44
Take Highway 44 to Kingshighway Blvd and travel north towards Highway 40.  Turn right (east) onto Manchester Ave.  After the second stop light, park along the street as the Center will be on your left (north)

From Hwy 40
Take Highway 40 to Kingshighway Blvd and travel south towards Highway 44.  Turn left (east) onto Manchester Ave.  After the second stop light, park along the street as the Center will be on your left (north)

From Hwy 70 (from the west)
Take Highway 70 E and exit to the right onto Highway 270 S.  Exit onto Highway 40 E.  Take Highway 40 E to Kingshighway Blvd and travel south towards Highway 44.  Turn left (east) onto Manchester Ave.  After the second stop light, park along the street as the Center will be on your left (north)

From Hwy 70 (from the east)
Take Highway 70 W and exit to the right onto Highway 270 S.  Exit onto Highway 40 E.  Take Highway 40 E to Kingshighway Blvd and travel south towards Highway 44.  Turn left (east) onto Manchester Ave.  After the second stop light, park along the street as the Center will be on your left (north)

From Illinois
Take Highway 40/64 over Poplar Street Bridge.  Take Kingshighway Blvd exit and travel south towards Highway 44.  Turn left (east) onto Manchester Ave.  After the second stop light, park along the street as the Center will be on your left (north)
